Following on from surgery on his eye to correct a double vision problem, Marc Marquez has decided to postpone his first ride of the season until a later date.
As the teams prepare for the testing session tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday at Valencia he has stated that he will not be included in the testing sessions.
Surgery
He has opted out of the session to continue the recovery of his eyes. His condition continues to improve as the days go on after he had an operation at the instituto Oftalmologico eye surgery department of Barcelona’s hospital in January.
Marquez Injury
The surgery came after Marquez started to have double vision problems after his crash in a practice session for the Malaysian Grand Prix back in October.
As he was due to return to the track this week he has decided to opt out of the session on the side of caution. He is expected to be back on the track in the near future.
