Moto3 – Inaugural Season Line Up

Starting in the Moto3 class as the teams and riders were announced on Friday. There are 32 riders in the new four stroke 250cc class that will be known as the Moto3 class for the 2012 season. Nine of the riders in the Moto3 class are from Spain with a further four from Italy and three from France.

The British contingent in the Moto3 class consists of two riders, both of which rode last year in the 125cc Class. There are some new comers to the class too.

So the run down for the Moto3 class is out. Those to watch will be the quick Maverick Vinales, Jonas Folger and Hector Faubel.
Being British I hope that the two Danny’s do well in the field. Webb still on the developing Mahindra while Kent still with the Red Bull team. Webb had some mechanical issues last season that both he and the team will have hoped to iron them out.
Most of the field competed last season and will know the circuits. The only thing that will be an issue is the reliability of the new bikes. Winter testing is on the cards at the start of next month at Valencia.
