After the announcement by Anthony West on Friday that he is retiring from racing after he couldn’t find the funds to pay for his ride in the MotoGP CRT class Speed Master have revealed that the Italian rider, Mattia Pasini has signed for them to ride in the 2012 season.
Pasini has been a regular since 2004 in the MotoGP World Championships. In all three categories of MotoGP Pasini has achieved 11 pole positions and 26 podiums that include 10 wins. He will be eager to show his metal in the elite class against the best in the world.
Pasini joined the team yesterday for a private testing session at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia. He will be out on track again today.
